Limits and quotas

The concrete limits Regnora enforces. Refer here when sizing an upload or working out why something was rejected.

Documents and uploads

Older Word (.doc) and PowerPoint (.ppt) files are imported as their text; Word tables are kept, while a PowerPoint table comes through as its cell text. Pictures inside them are kept: in a PowerPoint file each stays on its slide, while in a Word file they are gathered at the end of the document, because their position in an older Word file cannot be read. They are edited as text in Regnora rather than as a Word document. Save the file as .docx first to keep its layout.

Very large Office files are still imported — if one exceeds the limit of Regnora’s primary text extractor, it falls back to a simpler extraction rather than failing.

Plans and credits

Regnora’s usage runs on credits rather than fixed per-plan caps on projects, documents, or agents. For how credits and plans work, see Pricing and billing.

Every new organisation receives a free-trial credit grant on sign-up:

Trial credits go into the persistent pool and expire if not used within 15 days of account creation.
